I just watched the most inspiring video about the fashion world and up-and-coming designers.

Here I introduce Minju Kim, the designer who won the H&M Design Award 2013. She seems so excited about fashion; so in love with fashion and I wish famous designers nowadays could share the same excitement rather than just "pumping" out products so they could get revenue.
There has been a lack of creativity in the world, and from my point of view, people are just following the crowd with what other people are wearing.
I am not saying that the norm is bad, because it is accepted; but if you want to be an individual in this society, step up to the plate and be like Minju who just showcases her art and is organic because it represents her originality.

I'm really loving this collection. I got 04 and it's been magical for this fall season. It looks hard to wear in the tube but I have been getting used to my darker-hued lips.

It's a must-try for this season!

I AM BACK! I had the most amazing summer (for like a week after I finished my summer job) and .... pretty much neglected my blog. GAH.

I've been obsessed with the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H! The wear of it is beautiful!

It actually gets better over the course of the day and really blends into my skin.

I always just stuck with my MUFE High Defintion Foundation, which did the job but I wasn't ever completely in love with ... especially with my overly oily and acne-prone skin! However, it does not have as many shades as the MUFE, but I was able to find one for me (even with my yellow undertones); I'm shade 340 Bisque because I am tan right now. I got 250 Bisque for my winter shade.

I have been following/stalking people for a while now.

Before anyone calls the police on me, I want to use my rights (haha, what rights?) to say it is legal and I mean 'stalk' people in the-ever-so-famous YOUTUBE.

So here are the people who I admire, their opinions that I take into account when looking at anything and everything (from beauty products, to clothes, to even life issues?).

LIZA ELDRIDGE
CHANNEL
Being a makeup artist in real life with her work in famous fashion magazines, her word is like GOLD in the beauty industry. I love all her tips, her tutorials and her love for makeup that keeps each video fresh and informative.

SOPHIA

CHANNEL
She was a MAC makeup artist with a love of dramatic eyes and face sculpting. Her techniques are amazing and she not only use MAC products from their limited and permanent collection, she is a makeup junkie of every brand out there. I also love her fashion style, rocker chic with a hint of glamour. It goes along with her personality which shows through her videos.

NICOLE GUERRIERO

CHANNEL
She uses a lot of drugstore and high-end products together, while putting a lot of spice and personality to her videos. I love that she change her looks not according to trends but to things she likes and feels at the moment.

SHIRLEY B. ENIANG

Her style is somewhat like mine where we lust over the same things in stores and I love that even though she lives across the world from me, we can relate over an online community. A must-watch!

I am loving this cute vintage store! This is such a gem in the craziness of a developing city. I was told about this store by a friend of mine, went inside and LOVED everything! However, my friend wasn't feeling the vibe of the whole place so I left empty-handed. That night, I stalked the website and looked at the colour coordinated, well-kept selection which are all amazing, especially with the owner, Sarah Moyal's inspiration boards on the website. I even stalked the owner (at least I admit it, right?) and found out she worked in Milan for DSQUARED2 before opening this store. What a background to have and she has pulled great pieces for the store!

As I am writing this, I am lusting over a few pieces that I might actually go tomorrow to try on and buy. OH BOY.

Can't sleep without dreaming of vintage,

Katy Perry & Lana Del Rey Mashup - Wide Awake, Born to Die

I'm loving Katy Perry at the moment and the mashup song above has been a repeat on my ipod. She's so fierce and strong as a woman, especially after reading her interview in Elle's September issue. My sister got me hooked on Katy Perry even though I thought she was a joke or one-hit wonder kind of girl, but she has proven herself that she can make it in the industry and a voice to back it up. Just thought I should share!
