What I Wear: EVENING

I wanted to capture some of the products that I wear at night during the summer months. I start off with NO.1 which is an amazing product for my dull, dry, flaky, complexion but oily, pimple-prone skin. I know my skin is very weird, but at least NO.1 is doing it's job to moisture (but doesn't create oil!), smooths out skin, creates radiant skin and boost the skin up after a long day of makeup/cover-up. It is an all-round great product and I feel like I am not doing the product any justice! So, do your own research but I know if my crazy combination skin finds some use out of it, yours will too! Give it a try!

Then, I use NO.2 and it's main purpose as you can see is to even my skintone. However, it does a LOT more than that from what I see from my skin! I have a lot of acne scars (and after every pimple, it HAS to leave a scar... So, I have a lot!) but this little product has helped fade away so many! It also create a beautiful platform for when I finally put on my moisture, NO.3. The two products has worked wonders on my skin in preventing breakouts because my skin is so full of moisture that it doesn't create extra sebum and oil that clogs pores, which equates to pimples.

I talked about NO.3 a little already but this is my night-time moisture. It is amazing because I LOVE heavy night creams but I know in the summer, my skin sometimes can't handle it (hence, I am not using my winter night-time cream). NO.3 is the perfect balance for my requirement of thick and rich, and appropriate for summer. It might not be your cup of tea because it is thicker than other moisturizers (I am even comparing it to my daytime moisturizer) but like I said before, it help keep my skin hydrated so that it doesn't create extra, excess oil which easily becomes pimples, Mount Everest.

Lastly, I use an acne cream for the pimples that are still on my face with NO.4. This is a trial size and I am still trying it out. Even though it has salicyclic acid (which I usually hate and my skin hates it too), my skin has been quite responsive to this formula and I don't feel any stinging whatsoever. I have to finish it and try it a little longer before I can fully say I would use it again/buy a full size version, but right now, it is doing it's job. No complaints yet. The pimples are dying down a little faster than usual, so it might be this!

Good night,

I was inspired by this Bible verse today. As tragedies, war and hurt become a constant topic in the news, I am constantly reminded that we need LOVE more than anything in the world. To love one another. To love ourselves. To love the world. And what kind of love are we talking about? I think it is this kind of love: "Love is patient & kind. It does not envy or boast. It is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way. It does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. It is not irritable or resentful. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." (1 Corinthians 13:4-13)

And so... back to the update!

1. I added an Instagram page to this blog because I take more pictures than blog. (Whoops!)

2. I updated the blog layout (...as you can see) courtesy of CSThemes

3. If you don't know, I made a "Love Journal" and I update it more often than the blog. If you are curious or want to know more, check it out!

Have a blessed day,

My go-to morning song. Or it's good for everyday. I am always in the mood for this song and it's quite different from the other two songs I posted. It goes to show that my music taste is all over the place, but I like it. :)
